Owls of Bath
Minerva’s Owls of Bath 2018 was a public art event featuring over 100 individually decorated owl sculptures, displayed in a trail across the World Heritage city of Bath from June to September 2018, with the Owls auctioned off for charity after.
I was delighted to be a selected artist for an Owl sponsored by local creative workplace designers, Interaction. We wanted to capture the essence of what the studio is all about in a fun and accessible way, using the doodle style of my sketchnotes work. As we know a lot of families visit the trail, we also embedded a Where’s Wally style game so kids can hunt for all the Owl characters in the artwork (Spoiler: there are 6)
My Owl sold in the top 10 at auction to a local well-known business person.
